Every illustration created consists of characteristic elements of community heritage, the cultural and social identities of indigenous and native communities, embody know-how and skills, and transmit core values and beliefs. Their protection is claimed to be the promotion of creativity, increased cultural diversity and also the preservation of the culture.​​​​​​​
